So I realzed I haven't really done much writing lately - been distracted by books, work and life. After attempting to read 50 Shades of Grey I really needed to read something that could actually be considered literature and something I could really enjoy. So I read Charlaine Harris (creator of TV's True Blood series) Lily Bard's mystery - really great read and kept me guessing about who was the guiltly individual(s) but didn't feel that I had gotten rid of the bad feeling developed by reading 30 pages of the Grey so I read Suzanne Collins 'The Hunger Games' - whic were brillant; I had no idea what they were about when I brough them (there where in a set with no info on the outside) and I found them fascinating; I actually couldn't stop reading them, very different from what I normally read. It was at this put that I started to realize that even though my headaches were present my head injury was much better and I could enjoy reading again.
Anyway; I thought I'd set the day aside for writing today. I really don't know why I thought it was possible. First I get a letter stating that my driving licence wasn't paid for; so I had to sort that out. Then my flight (for a job interview) didn't have the right details. Next I get a job interview invite; one I thought I might get but it's at the worse time.
First I have a interview with Shell - in Scotland; they are flying me up for a two day recruitment procedure; which is great. It's next wednesday and thursday. Then I'm of to the other interview the next day - two hours on the train. A lot of work and I'm hoping I'll be able to do it.
So, need to start research and preparation for both job interview and do a research proposal for another job which really sounds great but needs to be recieved by next friday. Everything seems to be happening at the same time. It's all great but leaves me with little time to do anything else; including writing, so I guess you guys are in for a wait, sorry.
Hope everyone is doing great - talk soon :)

Date: 2012-09-22 01:19 pm (UTC)I think it could have done without a lot of the words, sentences or paragraphs. I read 30 pages and I thought it could have been cut out and made into something good; really it needed some editing

Well, there is such a mix review about Grey; I think it could have been better with a lot of editing. It's weird that I'm read another book at the moment and they started of the same way: A women in front of a mirror, trying to get their hair under control and worried about a meeting. A book a wanted to throw away and the other I wanted to stay awake longer to find out what happened next.
