Hey guys, I'm still here but RL has distracted me some what.
My headaches have been really bad over the last week so I haven't been writing anything - I'm still waiting for the test results of my CT head scan. I'm presuming that if there was anything wrong I would have been called in by now.
As for writing I'm slightly stuck on the next stage - denial and angry was easy but bargaining seems to have stuck me in place. I think I might have to do some research on it - to understand the feeling better.
I'm hoping to have something up within the week :)

Update on Unresolved
Jul. 12th, 2012 09:55 pmSorry no chapter tonight.
Had a bit of a bad day - seem to have lost my purse (or had it stolen) - all I know is that I had it when I was on the bus but didn't have it to pay for my appointment. Lucky they were quite understanding but I'm annoyed at myself for losing it.
Wasn't in the right frame of mind to write and because I've (you've) caught up with the story I have nothing wrote to post. I'll try tomorrow after phoning around to see if it might be in lost and found. Sorry.

Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box
May. 28th, 2012 06:41 pmSo, I go into work today; which I do rarely at the moment, and there is filming at a hotel right opposite where I work. I love films so I'm intrigued: from my view I can see that it's a period drama, at least I presume. There is horse and carts and costumes; everything looks amazing.
What I really wanted to know was whether I knew any of the cast; I can't see that well with the sun in my eyes. It's not until I'm walking back to the bus stop that I hear someone go: "It's some actor that's welsh but lives in America" and I look around for Matthew but of course he isn't here; can't help but hear the word Welsh and think of Matthew.
It's not until I'm home that my brain decides to tell me that they also said "He's in Hornblower" and I know exactly who it is. Stupid head; it's really stubborn lately and refusing to work properly. And I realize with all the costumes on I might just not have recognised him/
He I'm on IMDB when I get home and searching Ioan Gruffudd name and trying to figure out what it is that they're filming; I believe it's Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box - it's filmed in England and has location of film in Bristol, so I think it might be right. It's the first time I've even heard about the film but reading about it; I think it's something I would like to watch.
IMDB link - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1376213/
What is the chance of actually witnessing something that you might actually enjoying watching and never heard about it until you saw the filming. Sam Neill is also in it with a bunch of other people.
Can't wait

So not much more to update.
Still in pain and no job; I doubt I'll get a job until I back, to be truthful I don't really want one right now. I've started to volunteer again at where I was before the accident. I was surprised they even wanted me back after so long. Especially since I've reduce the amount of time I'm doing there; can't really managed a full day - who am I kidding I can barely managed an hour but I'm good at hiding it.
I've sort of lost my inspiration for writing at the moment - really starting to enjoy reading again (even with a headache) so keep up the good work. Trying to find some creative writing lessons or groups to join to see if that helps. Though most of what I have found have already started lesson wise and I doubt I'd be able to start half way through.
I've actually been looking at a retreat instead, I found the Avron Foundation, it's supposed to be well respected and they have grants so it might be perfect for me. Here's a link - tell me what you think?

Sorry I haven't been around lately - every time I think I'm getting better I have a relapse.
I went to see a specialist in the area and he said I sprained my back in six different places which is why I have good, bad and awful days and he said I torn/damaged my ligaments in my shoulder. Anything from four to six months to recover (he added an extra month the second time I saw him).
I really hate being ill; he warned me that I'm going to go through moods like anything - particularly depressed and angry - I feel sorry for my family.
All I really want to do (beside get better) is to sleep - I'll make it up to you when I'm better; with finishing stories. Right now I trying to decide want to watch which is giving me a headache.

Non fiction: Hey
Mar. 17th, 2012 05:27 pmHey guys; hope everyone is doing well. I'm finally up and about; thanks for all the messages.
I think it will still be a while before I'm up for writing anything - not going back to work for a couple more weeks; my back is still strained, though I guess whip lash will do that to you (or me!) but I'm starting to feel myself and my head doesn't hurt as much as it did.
I already have part of the next chapter of Unresolved and Destiny done - so maybe by next weekend I'll have something ready for you guys.

Non- Fiction: I had an accident
Mar. 8th, 2012 06:03 pmSo besides the fact that a couple of weeks ago I managed to get myself a volunteer position doing something related to my degree - which kept me busy on certain days for nearly 12 hours; I also had a nasty fall down the stairs a few days ago which explains why I haven't been updating anything.
I slipped at the top of the stair and went down a few steps - went to get up and must have blackout or passed out: next thing I knew I was at the bottom of the stairs (lucky my family was home) and then rushed to hospital in an Ambulance. Everything hurts - but nothing is broken. I doubt I'll be up for writing anything for a while - moving around takes it out of me; as does looking at a computer screen for more than a few minutes at a time. I'm on some pain killers at the moment - seeing how things goes and the most I've had to eat is dried toast.
I'll updated when I can

Tom Skerritt - signing autographs
Feb. 1st, 2012 04:56 pmSo I got a link about Tom Skerritt signing autographs at London Film and Comic Con - though from the name I thought I knew the person but the picture I didn't. Very young picture of him and then I realize he's William Walker in our fav show B&S.
I know I'm dreaming but it would be great if they could get some else from B&S but I doubt it.
Anyway a link if anyone is interested: http://showmastersonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73763

So I thought with uni over I'd have more time to do some writing and some how it didn't work out as I planned.
It took nearly a week to unpack everything and a month to actually have everything put away nicely - I don't exactly have a big room; especially since I've got double the amount of stuff since I left home.
Most of my time is spent looking for a job - I've had one interview so far - the rest is spent on the housework - cleaning, tidying and especially cooking; since I'm not paying rent I think it only fair that I do as much as I can to help out around the house.
So, I got my marks back from uni the final report I did got me a 72 (which equivalent to an A* mark) and awarded a Distinction in my master which is the highest award you can get (though I still think there has been an mistake or something).
A quick update on Love at Sea story - I've wrote a few new chapters but I would like a few more before I start to upload them - this story has been a long time coming and I thank you for keeping with it.

So UK has been plagued over the last few days with riots; there isn't even for a reason, just for violence and stealing.
It's spreading through the UK; since it started in London and now Birmingham and Liverpool and other places, it's caused a causation event that is rippling through England, it wouldn't surprise me it it went further.
It seems to be the youth of this country that are causing it; with hundreds already arrested. What is depressing is that most will get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again because they are so young. My thought is that as soon as you're able to tell the difference between what is right and wrong is when you should be able to be charged with a crime.
Apparently 16,000 officers are going to be sent in London to handle the riots that they are predicting to occur; this officers are being called upon from other counties. And all I can think about is the fact they have left these other counties unprotected against crimes.
My thoughts are with the police officers, ambulance services and other organisations that are risking their life's for this country against the kids of this country. Hopefully they are sending in the army tonight to seize control of the situation.

Random - non-fiction
Jun. 14th, 2011 09:42 pmSo before my internship starts I decided to watch a few films I have been wanting to watch for a while: here is my review
First two kind of obvious why I wanted to watch them - Matthew Rhys
The Abduction Club - This was actually must better than I thought it would be, I love that era as well so it really appealed to me. Though the ending was predictable it was sweet and a good humoured film. Had the kind of feel of a Carry On movie (British classics) but still kept a more serious tone needed to tell the story.
Love and Disasters- For a while at the beginning I wondered if Brittany Murphy was doing a very bad English accent but thank god they explained it at some point; that was needed for me. This was a great film - and I loved the way it was directed, acted and the story - though predictable ending was so sweet it just work as a very little hearten movie to watch; I could easily watch again.
The Social Network- Now, this, this was a disappointment to me, one word to describe this move would be BORING. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. Pretty much all I have to say about it.
Arctic Blast- Watched for two reasons: Michael Shanks and it's a disaster movie. As a emergency planning student with an environmental background I love to watch these movies. Though I don't believe this will ever happen I can really enjoy it because of that - plus some of the special effects are just plain bad but the acting is good - and they managed to name some of the ozone gases - clever them. But all this worry about the gases and that everything is our fault really annoys me; yes we need to be more sustainable but we're taking it one step to far in my opinion. Anyway back to the film, story was intriguing - though for once I would like the couple not to get back together - switch five year from the ending and they would have got a divorce like they planned at the beginning of the movie because he quit his job and he ends up resenting her because of it.
X-Men: First Class- I don't know what I expected from this movie but I enjoyed it - actors were great and it's nice to have the background of the older mutants explained, I def like Hank/Beast the best in my opinion. Though I hope they don't do anymore - they might starti to kill the franchise like they nearly did with X-Men: The Last Stand

Hi guys,
Thanks for reading my current fic - Love at Sea - hope your enjoying it. I seem to bit slightly stuck right now; not sure if Kevin should go it the room or follow Scotty. Plus I have no idea how to make them fall in love in the next three days, aahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
So taking a break and writing other work and actually do my assignment for uni which might be one of the most boring assignment I've done in a while and somehow managed to get an extension for it as well.
