Premonition 2/3

Disclaimer: Not mine. Just messing with the characters if B&S
Summary: I’ve fixed season five of B&S. If the writers can go all silly with the show then so can I. Btw I actually liked some of the SL just some of the writing didn’t gel with me.
“How can this be true; that I just made this up” Scotty said with the start of tears appearing.
“I don’t know but I promise you it is true” Kevin said “and we will get through this, just like we always have” Kevin continued putting his hand on Scotty’s.
“I just don’t know what to think; I don’t even know the truth anyone” Scotty said “I mean, if this is from two years ago, I mean now, then this was the day that we left the old cabin and we were in the multi car crash” Scotty presumed.
“Yes” Kevin said “it happened two weeks ago”
“So” Scotty said carefully “I’m not the only one in the hospital then”
“Yes, you are” Kevin said also being carefully “what did you think happened?”
“Robert was in a coma and Holly had to stay for observation; she suffered from amnesia. In guess I’m the one with the fuzzy brain” Scotty said carefully with a slight sarcasm to it.
“Oh, honey” Kevin said worried that maybe he shouldn’t tell him the truth but he does anyway “Both Robert and Holly died at the scene”
“What!” Scotty said in complete shock.
“Their injuries were just too much” Kevin said sadly thinking more about Robert and concerned about Rebecca and Justin; their marriage already sounded like it was in trouble before the accident.
“But...but” Scotty said thinking about his own personally version of what happened; he remember how Kevin had handled Roberts death last time; he was sure that it was going to be the same again “I’m so sorry honey, about Robert”
“Me too” Kevin said quietly “so did he come out of the coma in your world” he said thinking maybe he survived in an alternative world.
“No” Scotty said “Kitty ended up pulling the plug about a year after the accident; she held on to him for as long as she could but it became too much, Justin was the one to finally get through to her after he came back from the war”
Kevin looked up shocked.
“What is it Kevin?” Scotty asked.

Kevin looked up shocked.
“What is it Kevin?” Scotty asked.
“He came to tell me today, that once he was sure you were okay, he was going back to the army, he felt it was what he needed” Kevin said slowly “mum just told him if it was what he needed then he should go; I think Rebecca is never going to forgive him”
“They got a divorce” Scotty said.
“Well, not yet” Kevin said “or are you talking about your little world” he said teasingly.
Scotty smiled “yes, he started to date Tyler again”
“Oh” Kevin said remember the girl he was dating a few years ago “how did that happen?”
“They bumped into each other whilst at a hotel; arranging something for the wedding” Scotty said laughing he couldn’t believe all the things he made up.
“Sarah and Luc got married, Justin and Tyler got back together, we had not one but two kids, sounds like a nice world to dream about” Kevin said liking the sounds of this alternative world.
It was at this point that everything came crashing down around Scotty “Kevin, it wasn’t a smooth sailing world I create; there was a lot of problems”
“Well, it wouldn’t be Walker land if there wasn’t some drama” Kevin said continuing to laugh until he saw the sad and uncomfortable face
“what is it honey, what happened that was that bad”
“Michelle lied about having a miscarriage” Scotty said quietly and looked at the shocked face of Kevin “we didn’t find out until about a month before the wedding; we lost out on so much time”

“Oh, sweetie” Kevin said “you know that she would never do that, we wouldn’t let her”
“That’s what we thought before” Scotty answered “and she still did it” Scotty started to cry “our marriage nearly felled apart after we found out about the miscarriage and we were still hurting from the accident; we stopped being us”
“Honey” Kevin looked scared “I promise you that will never happen; I love you too much”
“I love you too” Scotty said sincerely “but it didn’t stop us from failing; from me failing you”
“What are you talking about; you could never fail me” Kevin said getting more concerned “there is nothing you could do or say that would fail me or make me stop loving you” Scotty looked more scared than ever before “what is it, what is it you’re not telling me?”
“I cheated on you” Scotty admitted.
Kevin fell back in his chair; a mirror of what had happened when Scotty had told him the first time; except this time Kevin spoke to him “What, when?” he asked.
“The night of the opening of the Cafe opening” Scotty said slowly.
“Oh” Kevin said suddenly “not sure if I believe that"
“It still happened” Scotty said “and it took us quite a while to get through it”
“Scotty” Kevin said moving back up to hold his husband hand “I would never believe you would actually cheat on me; I don’t know how this happened but I’m sure I held my own part in it” Kevin said waiting for the nod that he knew would come from Scotty “but you have to remember it was a dream and whatever happened in it isn’t going to happen in real life”
“Justin is going to the war” Scotty whispered scared that his dream was more like a premonition than anything else.
“But Robert and Holly are both dead” Kevin said reminding him subtlety.
“Everything felt so real” Scotty said worried.
“I have faith in you, in me and in us, we will work this out” Kevin promised “anyway there has to be things that didn’t make any sense, I mean beside you cheating on me” he said laughing because he knew Scotty would never do that
“I guess there was” Scotty said smiling.
“You want to tell me some of them” Kevin said trying to lighten the mood.
“Well, Kitty was dating someone younger than me” Scotty said laughing and Kevin started to laugh as well “then she got pregnant”
“That’s impossible” Kevin commented
“I know” Scotty said “should have now that there was something wrong at that point but we only found out at the wedding”
“What else” Kevin said enjoying the story of the other world

“Well, I really should have known something was wrong when the timeline started messing up” Scotty said
“What do you mean?” Kevin said confused
“Oh, like the date the cafe actually opened kept changing and they couldn’t figure out how old Evan was. Oh” Scotty said getting excited “Saul got engaged to the man that gave him HIV; kind of strange but they were definitely in love”
“Wow” was all Kevin could say to that “how about Sarah?”
“Well, she found out she was actually the biological daughter of this guy named Brody who Nora was dating at the same time she started to see your father. Oh, and she owned a media company” Scotty was finding this so fun.
“Hahaha” Kevin laughed “really; how did Mum handle that?”
“She started to date Brody” Scotty continued
“Awesome, Mum got herself a new boyfriend, over the years. I swear sometimes she gets more action than the rest of us combine” Kevin said.
“He wasn’t the only one” Scotty laughed.
“So what did Justin get up to beside Tyler” Kevin teased.
“Well, besides going crazy with all the girls once he finally got over Rebecca, he became a paramedic; really enjoyed it” Scotty said confident in that one thing.
“Sounds like my brother” Kevin said “at least you dreamt about him properly; unlike Kitty dating someone younger when she normally goes for older”
“Well, he was nice enough but I guess you’re right” Scotty admitted that it was a bit weird “she did some guest lecturing about politics” he remembered.
“At least that seems normal” Kevin said “anything else; that doesn’t seem that much really”
“She got ill again” Scotty said not sure he should be mentioning it.
“Oh” Kevin said worriedly.
“I said it wasn’t all happy” Scotty said a bit annoyed bit then realized he shouldn’t be so annoyed; this was still all new for him “it wasn’t until about a year and half maybe more after the accident. It was something to do with her bone maroon; remember this was a dream Kevin, just like you said to me” Scotty said comforting.
Kevin shook his head to get rid of the image of Kitty being ill again.
“Well, we’ve talked about most of the family; what about me, what job did I have and how about you; was the cafe doing well” Kevin asked changing the subject.
“Well the cafe was doing great, we double our profit in the first year” Scotty said smiling “just like I hoped. No wonder I dreamed about us doing so well; I doubt it would happen in real life” he said frowning.
“I sure it will be fantastic” Kevin said “you are an amazing cook and it doesn’t surprise me at all”
“You became a family lawyer; did pro bona work” Scotty said pleased.
“Really” Kevin said shocked “now that really does surprise me”
“Why” Scotty asked
“Because I told Sarah once that I hated family law and was I really working for free” Kevin said shocked.
“Well, with the cafe doing so well” Scotty answered carefully “you could follow your dreams and didn’t have to worry about the money” Kevin stayed quiet for some time “Kevin, you loved it and it was the reason we decided to adopt Olivia from social service because you kept reading about all these kids that needed home and you just wanted to help them all. It’s part of the reason why I love you so much; you always want to help everyone” Scotty finished and Kevin smiled.
“Well, with the cafe doing so well” Scotty answered carefully “you could follow your dreams and didn’t have to worry about the money” Kevin stayed quiet for some time “Kevin, you loved it and it was the reason we decided to adopt Olivia from social service because you kept reading about all these kids that needed home and you just wanted to help them all. It’s part of the reason why I love you so much; you always want to help everyone” Scotty finished and Kevin smiled.
“Olivia” Kevin smiled “we had a daughter”
“Yep” Scotty said smiling “she was nine years old, so sweet but so terrified of moving in with us. She didn’t believe in happy endings; we had some bumps along the way but she really became our daughter” the Scotty remembered she wasn’t actually real “I’m going to miss her so much”.
“Hey” Kevin said getting up to hug Scotty “it’s okay, it’s okay” Kevin didn’t know what else to say but those words.
Over the next few days and before Scotty was released the Walker family and co dropped by to hear the stories of the alternative world they were part of and their own individuals stories; with laughter and tears all around; though secretly some of them liked parts of their other lives.

You had me LMAO....
And I love your plot. Cuz *now* whatever we saw in Season 5 finally made sense. It's all because of the swelling in Scotty's brain!
