A/N - Been really busy this week - last taught module this week, plus assignment due today and issues with the company internship programme; so I'll get around to responding to comments at the weekend
An hour earlier
Michelle was looking at Daniel as she feed him; she had come to a decision but she didn’t know how to go ahead with the decision.
How could she give up her son?
Then she wanted to kick herself again for the hundredth time that day; he wasn’t her son and she had no right to keep believing it.
She had already done enough damage to Scotty and Kevin the least she could do was give them the baby they had want; the baby they had paid her for.
She around the room; she had around packed away Daniels’ clothes into bags, his toys into another and other essentials into other bag. Including his birth certificate; even though Scotty didn’t know about the birth she had wrote down his name (of course no signature had been made) she figured they would need the original if they wanted to get a new one. She also had wrote two letters to Scotty; one saying she was sorry for everything she had done and the other way giving up her parental rights to Daniel.
When she started to write the second one she thought of Kevin and the fact he was a lawyer and the contract she had already signed. She knew she didn’t have to write it out again because she had signed her writes away originally. It was part of the reason why she lied about the miscarriage because if she waited until after the birth she knew she would never sees the baby again. Then she remembered Kevin’s face; a look of pure pain went through his face when he said the thought of losing his child was too much. Then what did she do; she made him lose his child.
Resolved she picked up Daniel and the items and headed to Cafe 249.
Once there she wasn’t sure she could face Scotty but she knew she had no choice; she just hoped he would be too shock to call the police or even think about that until she was already out of the door.
She walked into the cafe and nearly walked into Saul.

“I’m sorry” Saul said but when he looked again he realized he knew her “Michelle, is that you?” Saul asked shocked, he hadn’t seen her in a while; since before the miscarriage.
“Saul” Michelle said guilty “is Scotty here?” she continued worriedly.
“No, not right now he is out...” Saul stopped half way through the conversation when he noticed the baby. He quickly did the maths in his head and knew that this was his great nephew.
“Michelle...” Saul started to say but was stopped when Michelle put Daniel in his arms
“Tell Scotty I’m so sorry” Michelle said dropping the bags on the floor “I never meant to cause them so much pain. Everything is my fault; hopefully with their baby maybe one day they will be stronger enough to get back together. I’m sorry” she repeated.
“Michelle how could you” Saul said not mentioning that Scotty and Kevin were actually on a date as they spoke right now. Michelle looked unstable and if he mentioned that she might want the baby back. From the sound of it she was only giving the baby to them because they were broken up.
“Just say I’m sorry” Michelle said and took one last look at Daniel and wave to him “Goodbye sweetie, I’ve left you where you should have gone from the beginning” she turned and ran out of the cafe before Saul could say anything else.
Saul turned around not realizing they had drawn the attention of the customers around them “I’m sorry folks about the disruption, um, a free drink for everyone” he said as he started point to the waiters and the customers then went back to their meals and new conversations to discuss as Saul picked his phone out of his pocket and called Scotty whilst balancing the baby in his other arm.

Scotty and Kevin walk into the cafe looking for Saul but can’t see him Scotty goes up to one of the waitress Kimberley.
“Kimberley, have you seen Saul” Scotty asked still looking around the cafe for him.
“Oh, yeah, he went upstairs” Kimberley said in a Texas accent “such as cutie that baby is” she continued as Kevin and Scotty walked passed her.
“Saul has a baby, when did that happen?” Scotty asked Kevin.
“And how?” Kevin asked neither of them having the idea that the baby upstairs was actually theirs.
“Saul” Scotty yelled when he came into their apartment “where are you?”
Saul walked out of the kitchen and into the living room carrying the baby in his hand and the documents and letters in his other hand.

“Oh, Kimberley was right, he is a cutie. You gonna to come and see your... want what is the relation... cousin or something” Scotty said laughing and looked around for Jonathan.
Kevin was looking at the baby; thinking how much it looked like Scotty. How had Scotty not noticed the resemblance? But then again he kept seeing his son everywhere he looked after the miscarriage.
“Um, no, you don’t” Saul said not sure how to explain the situation but from the look on Kevin’ face he was already part the way to figuring out the truth.
“Look” Scotty said looking from Saul to Kevin and then back to Saul “I know we’ve been going through a rough part but we’re still married, I am still part on the family” Scotty said hurt. He thought Saul still counted him as family.
“No, no” Saul rushed to reassure him “it’s not that. Um, I think you will be calling him son” Saul said as he put the baby in his arms and it was then that Scotty got completely confused.
Kevin on the other hand was one step ahead of Scotty “Hey, honey, we’ve got you back” he said and he saw the nod from Saul which confirmed what he had been thinking from the moment he saw the baby; Michelle had lied.
Scotty watched the exchange between Kevin and Saul still confused “Um, what is going on?” he said as he held the baby.
“Michelle turned up here” Saul said explaining what had happened earlier “she wanted you to know she was sorry and hoped this would help after she found that you two were separated”.
“She lied to me” Scotty said “she lied to us” he continued as he handed the baby to Kevin and collapsed on the couch “how could she do this to us and why now has she given him back; she kept him, why now” Scotty repeated the words not connecting the dots.
“Sweetie” Kevin said looking at Scotty so confused “you know why”.
Scotty remember their earlier conversation and how Michelle had acted last night “No wonder she looked guilty; she wasn’t feeling guilty about the miscarriage but the fact she had lied and kept our son”.
Kevin went and sat next to Scotty and took his hand “We’ll get through his, I promise” he said as he squeezed Scotty’ hand and looked at his son in his arms.
“We will” Scotty said but more as a question than a statement.
“I promise you we will” Kevin said looking at his husbands’ eye and knowing it was the truth.

Yeah, it's sad/bad news - I was kind of hoping we would get a small sixth season and then maybe Michelle would get put in jail, we would get to see K/S with Daniel and Olivia, Kitty finding out she isn't pregnant (false positive) she is actually going through menopause, Sarah gets another divorce and Justin and Tyler would get married.

I was watching this ep on my DVD two days ago and I totally found a new me when I looked at Michelle and remembering how she betrayed Kevin/Scotty's trust and then there's everything in that episode! I'm happy you write this hon! Cuz I don't know if I will break my tv or what the next time I watch the ep again! :D
And I thought it's so natural for Saul to offer all customers free drinks after that chaos. :D I bet Saul want a drink himself too!
But then again he kept seeing his son everywhere he looked after the miscarriage.
awww... poor Kevin...
I love it here where Scotty handed Daniel to Kevin when he received that emotional impact realizing his best friend has been lying to them all along.

That is what I hate about this season - is while watching the SL in season four and I see a totally different Michelle - thinking of writing a story from that time now.
I do like to put this two through some pain - I know it bad - but I normally leave them happy

This was a great story and a beautiful perspective on the cheating storyline. Too bad they couldn't have had Michelle back at that time too. They (we) had so little with Daniel.

I have an idea about enough Michelle story (which will make us hate her more) once I have more time. It really is horrible to say that their baby was dead.
We need more of Daniel - it really was such a short time - the reason why I wouldn't have mind another series but really the only reason why I would want one from what the writers said about other SL
